Ideas to “Revive” your old games
Do you still have old games that you are crazy about past few years but it just like an uninteresting old game now?
Well, if you do, then there maybe sometimes you think of playing one of those old games when you have nothing to do. But when you touch the game CD…something flashed in your brain tell you that you already know everything about this game,forcing you to put back the game in its “cemetery” :p
So, here are some tips to “revive” your old games so you can have fun with it once again: 
1. Search and read the game’s guide
If you haven’t do this last time, looking for a guide for your guide can be interesting as you may find hidden things and secrets that you haven’t revealed before. If you are playing Role Playing Games (RPGs) such as the popular Final Fantasy series, then you may have missed some (or a lot) of hidden things when you play it last time. So, read the guide and get all those secret things!!
2. Finish the game without any guide
This is the opposite of the first tips, if you finished your game with a guide before, then this is for you!
You may have find every single thing with the game guide’s help years back, but its few years ago and maybe now you have forget some of the detailed steps. So, this is your chance to give yourself a challenge! Re-play the game without any guide! just like the a person who want to make his own game guide, do everything yourself and see how much you can get from the game.
3. Use game mod (works best on PC games)
The first two tips may work best on RPG games and other games with long story. But how about short and simple games like First Person Shooting (FPS) games and fighting games? dont feel left out because game mods are there for you! Just check the Internet. Many people make various game mods, it can add the value of the game. For example, you may want to find a mod that make the game looks stupid but fun to play :p or you may want to find a mod to make your game become a lot harder so it become a greater challenge for you to re-play the game. SO, why you still read this? go find the mods for your old games!! enjoy! 
4. Challenge your friend
Everyone likes a challenge, your old game may not so challenging for you to play alone. But if you got friends that also a game maniac, just ask him/her to play together with you! I remember this classic game : “Worms Armageddon”, this is a way ooolld game but it can be everyone’s game when I play it together with my friends. it is very fun!
5. Play with totally different playstyle
How to play differently? good question. Now, what I try to say here is that you can give yourself more challenge by play the game differently. For example, for RPG games, just try to be different, if you like to build up your character’s level till you become like a “superhero” then now try to just finish the game story as fast as you can! You will have lower level and make the game harder + more challenging to be played.
For games like FPS, try to change the control scheme and play it. For example, swap your mouse to your least dominant hand and see how good you can aim with your other hand (Pssst!! doing this is a good brain exercise also :p )
